The executive order issued by President Obama, to allow illegal aliens who arrived here before they turned 16, to apply for a two year deferral as well as a work permit, is illegal. Here is why Article 1 Section 1
All legislative Powers herein granted shall be vested in a Congress of the United States, which shall consist of a Senate and House of Representatives.
They spelled it out pretty plainly, hell even I can understand it.
The President’s power is limited just as the rest of our Government is. Sadly since he is charged with enforcing the laws I doubt anything will come of this or any of the other E.O.’s he has issued.
Just to be fair President Obama in not the only President to issue E.O.’s. This one just sticks in my throat since we have so many Citizens looking for work right now.
Here is part of the President’s power from Article 2 Section 3
He shall from time to time give to the Congress Information of the State of the Union, and recommend to their Consideration such Measures as he shall judge necessary and expedient; he may, on extraordinary Occasions, convene both Houses, or either of them, and in Case of Disagreement between them, with Respect to the Time of Adjournment, he may adjourn them to such Time as he shall think proper; he shall receive Ambassadors and other public Ministers; he shall take Care that the Laws be faithfully executed, and shall Commission all the Officers of the United States.
It does not say if Congress does not do as you wish that its fine to issue an E.O. sorry that dog won’t hunt.
The use of E.O.s as well as so called Czars has gone on for far to long. Its time to take our Nation back to the basics. A huge part of our problem is that for just about every circumstance we have a law for or against it. Instead of using good old common sense.
