Its pretty simple, you don’t threaten the President of the United States period. Sorry but there are enough threats to the Office as well as the man without adding anymore. It does not matter if your joking, the Secret Service still has to waste man hours making sure it was just that, a joke.
Don’t get me wrong, making threats directed at anyone except your kids is never a good idea. Threatening an elected Official is just dumb. Use your vote to show them your upset with them. If your really upset, volunteer at the other persons campaign.
This man is finding out just how serious of an offense it is to threaten the President of the United States.
If for no other reason, don’t add to the Secret Service’s case load. Trust me they are busy enough during a regular year , during an election year even more so.
Oh and BTW it is a crime as well….
