Fifty-nine percent (59%) of U.S. voters believe that the current level of political anger in the country is higher than it was when George W. Bush was president.

This is not a real shocker to me. Since I have attended the protests I can see the anger that people have towards both parties. It seems that a well run independent campaign could win on the local level. Maybe even in Congress. I doubt we will see an independent win the Office of President. Which is sad since that’s what we really need, someone who is not bound by either party.
Fifty-six percent (56%) of voters nationwide now oppose the health care reform proposed by President Obama and congressional Democrats. That’s the highest level of opposition yet measured and includes 44% who are Strongly Opposed.
In my humble opinion its because people want real reform not added taxes and a back door to single payer system. Its not that hard to understand what the American people want. Just ask them, in this day and age no one I know is afraid to share there feelings.
Just one-out-of-four Americans (25%) have a favor opinion of members of Congress. Seventy-two percent (72%) view them unfavorably. There’s some intensity in that perception, too. Only four percent (4%) have a very favorable view of congressmen, while 37% view them very unfavorably.
This comes as no surprise to me since Congress does not seem to want to listen to the people who voted them into office. Take my Congressmen District 5 of Maryland, seems the only job he has had has been as a politician. No real world experience. At one point on his web site he had a survey up asking people of District 5 if they favored the health care bill, over 74% voted no. In this poll you had to know the last 4 digits of the 9 digit zip code in order to vote. Since then he has taken the survey down. I wonder why? Yet he is still support the health care bill……
Here is his BIO
Congressman Hoyer has represented the 5th Congressional District since he was elected during a special election in 1981. Before serving in the House of Representatives he was elected to the Maryland Senate in 1966, at 27, just after graduating from law school at Georgetown University Law School. Congressman Hoyer was the youngest person in Maryland history to be elected Senate President where he served from 1975-1978.
As you can see he really has never held a real job since graduating from College….. There are a lot of politicians like him.
This is amazing, considering it was anger that swept Obama into office..
