How is it that the USA allows China to get away with human rights abuse’s that would see any other country put on the sanctions list? What message are we sending to the rest of the world? Loan us lots of money, supply us with cheap goods and we will turn a blind eye too how you treat your people? Sure we may speak out against them from time to time, however actions speak louder then words. If we keep trading and borrowing from China we are condoning the way China treats it’s citizens. While I understand better then most that there is a lot of gray areas in the world, as the alleged world leader, if we are going to talk the talk we need to walk the walk. If not we are no better then China. Paying lip service to human rights violations does not promote freedom. We where at one time the great beacon of hope in the world, now we have allowed our Country to sink down to a mere talking head who at times bites smaller country’s. China has a long history and they do not view time as we do, they plan a 100 years at a time. Which is great for them and bad for the USA. Since we seem to only really plan for 10 years at the most. Keep in mind China does what it want’s and seldom worries about what the World thinks. It’s high time that the USA does the same thing. Why should we try to conform with what the world want’s us to be? After all the founders of our Country moved away from Europe because they no longer wanted to live under their rules. Yet now we are starting to repeat just what Europe did. We appease China for several reasons, yet not one of them is worth the life of another human. Did we not fight two World Wars for these very same reasons? Take a good hard look at China, then tell me the way we treat them is correct. Its time we pulled our heads out of the sand and understand that unless we change our direction and soon China will end up owning the USA and set themselves up to Control the Pacific.
