There should never be a debate from knowing right from wrong.
Stealing no matter how small the $ amount is wrong. It’s plain wrong from a moral view and it drives the price up on goods for the rest of us.
Giving minors drugs that alter their biological bodies is wrong. Once they become adults and have had some counseling, then maybe that would be the right thing to do for that person. It’s wrong for teachers and school counselor’s to try and go behind the backs of the students parents in order to prove how much they care about the students. That’s not showing love for the students it’s being selfish on the adults part, so they can prove how much they care in their own minds.
It’s wrong that neither political party will sit down and do what’s best for our nation. Not what’s best for their party. American’s are not dumb, if they break a bill down and explain why its going to help our Nation as a whole people would get behind it. As it sits now we get 15-30 second sound bits telling us either what’s good about the bill or what’s bad about it. In a perfect world we would have stand alone bills with nothing added to them. Example would be the defense bill. If it does not have anything to do with defense it does not go into the bill.
Gun control; You can’t have an honest debate about it until you use real numbers and you can talk about the shootings that happen daily. Remove the justifiable homicides, accidental deaths and suicides. No gun owner wants to see a child or children murdered period. As a gun owner the LAST thing I want to read about or see on the IDIOT box is a mass shooting . In most of these cases the people who have committed these crimes have been on the authorities radar and for one reason or another they fell through the cracks.
The Media does not just report the facts to We the viewers or readers. Yes that includes Fox News as well. What they do is take what happened and wrap their narrative of what they want us to believe around what happened. If it turns out the narrative is not true they change the headlines to something that allows them to safe face without drawing attention to it. Does anyone remember the SUV the drove into a Christmas parade? What the media is doing is wrong.
I could set here and keep going but there should be know need to do so. What I ask everyone is to do what my Mother ask me to do “ Be a seeker of the truth”
