Happy New Year to all! May 010 be a great year for all of you!
While I was out this morning I started thinking of a few things that might make your day go a little bit better.
Smile at everyone you see, no matter what type of day your having, you will feel better (if) when that person smiles back at you. Plus you just might help someone make it though their day.
Read the name tag of the person that is helping you, then use their name. Will make them feel like you care. Lets face it some jobs are not a whole lot of fun, those that are dealing with people all day can be even worse.
When your having a bad day try to remind yourself that your alive and their are worse things that could happen. If you wake up in the morning, no matter what happens its going to be a great day.
Moms, I don’t care what anyone else says to you, You need and deserve some time to yourself. Raising kids is a full time job on its own, and most men do not understand that. Even if you work, when you get home you can’t just go hide on the sofa, there is always something you are getting done. If your lucky enough to be married to a man who does a fair share of the work, keep him. Most men, myself included don’t understand what a Mom really does. When both parents work, there seems to be some silly un-spoken rule that when the man gets home he does not have to do much, while the Mom has her day still going on. So make sure you take some time each week just for you, doing something for yourself, even if its just reading a good book for a few hours. I can’t say how much credit Moms deserve.
Each day try to make it a point to help someone else, the reward is for you, not for the person you help out.
Love is what makes the world go around, try to love as many people as you can, Starting with yourself.
Discipline is not a bad word, nor does it have to always be negative, Discipline could be making sure you take time for yourself each week. When we live a disciplined life we are truly living the good life.
If your just starting out in the world, listen to your parents advice, you don’t have to take it, but think about what they are telling you. Our Parents and Grand Parents are a great source of information. The things they still have to teach the next generation can not be understated. Keep an open mind on all things, and be sure to make up your own mind, don’t just follow the crowd.
Just food for thought from a sick mind….
